O Progress Report

Autumn 2004

All lines were closed in the late spring due to the building repair project. Not knowing to what extent the reconstruction would envelope the second floor, most damageable pieces were removed from the east end of the layout. Plastic sheeting covered the entire layout to protect it from dust and dirt. Sometime after the project was complete, we removed the plastic sheeting and the slow process of repositioning started. We still have a ceiling leak problem over the central east end of the layout but despite that, track was cleaned and one line was tested on 10/25. Next week we hope to have all lines open for testing.
